Athletic Therapy

Work with one of our experienced Athletic Trainers to address any injuries, body aches and pains, and optimize your performance related to your physical activity. Athletic therapy sessions may include a variety of manual therapy treatments and corrective exercises to address both the symptoms + the root cause of your pain.

Physical Therapy

Always one-on-one, you will never share your appointment with another patient. The goal for our physical therapy is long term resolution of your pain by going more in depth with rehabilitation and corrective exercise to address the root cause of your pain. Our physical therapist has additional training in PRI-based exercises. PRI, or Postural Restoration Institute, focuses on reversing asymmetries in the body, which lead to inefficient breathing and neuromuscular pain (especially following a traumatic injury). PRI exercises help breathing patterns and pain, thus building stronger muscles, faster speeds, and more athletic movement patterns.

Cup Therapy

Myofascial Decompression (Cup Therapy) addresses connective tissue restrictions by improving the mobility of the soft tissue layers. The use of negative pressure with suction cups creates space between the soft tissue layers that allow each layer to slide one upon another with decreased viscosity and improved movement efficiency.

Dry Needling

Dry Needling is a skilled intervention performed by a healthcare professional. This professional uses a fine filiform needle to penetrate the skin, creating a healing response in the tissue that has been lesioned. Tissues contributing to neuromusculoskeletal dysfunction can be dry needled, including muscle, fascia, tendon, capsule, ligament, peri-neural structures, and microvascular structures.

Craniosacral Therapy

CST is a gentle, hands-on technique that uses a light touch to examine membranes and movement of the fluids in and around the central nervous system. Relieving tension in the central nervous system promotes a feeling of well-being by eliminating pain and boosting health and immunity.

Blood Flow
Restriction Therapy

BFRT is achieved through the application of external pressure over the extremities via a cuff while performing rehabilitation. BFRT works by decreasing blood flow to working muscles with the aim to promote hypertrophy and strength gains.

Massage Therapy

We offer sports, therapeutic, cupping and prenatal massage services.
Our experienced massage therapists specialize in deep tissue massage with a goal to speed recovery time, improve mobility and promote healing. Massage therapy services are tailored to fit the individual needs of our clients.

Reiki

A japanese healing technique, reiki is based on the idea that an unseen “life force energy” flows through us. If your life force energy is low, then you are more likely to get sick or feel stressed. When your life force energy is high, you are more capable of living a happy and healthy life.

Massage Therapy

We offer sports, CBD, and therapeutic massage services with premium products and essential oils to accommodate the individual needs of each client.

Our CBD oil is formulated specifically for massage, and is supplied from a local Colorado business. This product is ultra moisturizing and provides additional muscle aches, pains, and stress relief (we like to describe the additional relaxation effect like drinking a cup of chamomile tea).

Learn More

Owner and Founder Morgan earned her Bachelor’s of Science at UW-Milwaukee in Athletic Training. After graduating she worked in the sports medicine field for six years with a variety of sports including roller derby, football, soccer, and gymnastics. With her extensive experience as a health care provider working in athletics she felt inspired to seek out a way to practice independently, and offer a higher quality of care. Thus May One was born!

Morgan is certified in both Myofascial Decompression (Cup Therapy) and Dry Needling. She has a passion for helping her clients treat both the symptoms and root cause of their pain through a holistic approach to medicine.

Bridget Gasiorowski
, MS, LAT, LMT
Certified Athletic Trainer, Licensed Massage & Craniosacral Therapist
Learn More

Bridget is both a Certified Athletic Trainer and a Licensed Massage Therapist of 8 years. She graduated from Concordia University with her Bachelor’s in Athletic Training.

She wanted to become a massage therapist because she is attracted to helping people and having the ability to directly decrease the pain or discomfort they are experiencing.

She then earned a higher education in athletic training because she wanted to give her clients more answers, options, and tools to integrate into their lifestyle. She wanted to learn a skillset to find the root of the disfunction instead of focusing on the symptoms.

She enjoys incorporating her manual therapy based education including myofascial release technique, cupping, and trigger point therapy into her sessions.

It is no secret that she is a client favorite at our clinic.
